About Me
I’m so glad you are here. I think an introduction is in order. I’m Tammy Miller. My amazing husband is named Dave. We have been happily married for a little over 29 years, which is crazy because the years have seriously flown by – which means we’ve had quite the fun adventure. We are the parents of four amazing kids, one bonus son (son-in-law), and one bonus daughter (daughter-in-law). All of our kids are grown, with our youngest just turning 18! We are also grandparents to the most adorable little girl and we will soon have a grandson this summer!
About 11 years ago we were introduced to doTERRA essential oils. After having some incredible experiences that had a significant impact on many members of our family, we knew that this was something that we were supposed to share with individuals and families alike. doTERRA’s essential oils and products were something that was so easy for us to talk about and share with others because they had made such an impact on our life, so it was a no-brainer to jump at the opportunity to do it as a business. We were impressed with the products, the leadership, the mission and the culture of this amazing company.
My husband was part owner of a printing company at the same time we started doing doTERRA. Six months into our doTERRA journey, he and his partners sold the printing company. This experience caused us to dig deep and sacrifice to grow our doTERRA business. Our goal was for us to grow our doTERRA business to match our previous income. Dave and I were able to do that together in just less than 3 years and we have now been able to grow a large global team. I’m a firm believer that anything is possible if you put your heart and mind to it and you’re willing to the hard work – it is so rewarding. I LOVE what we do! Dave and I have created a life that entails time freedom, financial freedom, service opportunities aplenty and coaching people and helping them to see their dreams come to fruition.
I am so passionate about learning. I am fascinated with physical, emotional and spiritual health. For me, the spirit, mind and body work together in harmony. They say that knowledge is power and I wanted to learn for sure, yet there were parts of me that felt unfulfilled and things I wanted to accomplish on my own and parts of me that I wanted to be healed. I saw my kids were growing up so fast and I knew there was so much more I wanted to contribute, especially to women. So, I started looking into different programs. I found some that really spoke to me. I graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and I learned so much. My soul hungered for more learning and ways that I could help my family and others, so I found an incredible program on emotional healing through the Institute of Healing Arts. I knew it was important to learn some tools and modalities to help in my healing combined with my faith in my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. And then I had yet another nudge to get my life coaching certification through The Life Coach school. For me, this was the missing piece to the puzzle, and it made so much sense to me and I had so many incredible breakthroughs as I received coaching and then learned these incredible tools as a student. I am passionate about using these tools and modalities to help my clients get the results they are looking for.
My faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ is so important to me. I love my family and I love spending time with them. I love getting together with friends as well. I am passionate about humanitarian work and I love to serve my neighbors and community. I love to read, and it is rarely fiction. I’m a good mix of serious and funny. I love to cook and bake and entertain. I’m passionate about my Norwegian heritage and I’m grateful I had the opportunity to live there for a short time as a young girl. I love to work hard but I also love to play and relax, I love to travel a lot, I love spending time in nature, I love running, I love taking my dog on walks, I love spending time with my husband, I love to play pickleball and golf with him on occasion. I’m a social introvert, so I do need my alone time to recharge my batteries, but I also love to spend time with my people. And, authenticity is so important to me and I love to help people!
